Fldigi ist ein Modemprogramm für die meisten digitalen Modi, die heute von Funkamateuren benutzt werden: CW, PSK, MFSK, RTTY, Hell, DominoEX, Olivia und Throb werden unterstützt. Das hart arbeitende Entwicklerteam von W1HKJ hat  am 01. Februar die Veröffentlichung von Fldigi v3.23.21 angekündigt.

Diese Version 3.23.21 von Fldigi ist ein Wartungs-Release mit ein paar Bug-Fixes und mehrere neue Features, einschließlich der Hinzufügung von mehreren neuen Mikro-Modi. Ausführliche Informationen finden Sie in der ReadMe-Datei zum Download und unterhalb dieser Ankündigung.

Wie bei allen FL-Systemen unterstützt Fldigi weiterhin PowerPC- und Intel (i386) -Prozessoren. Mit einzelnen Downloads für jede Architektur, kann hier heruntergeladen werden.

HINWEIS: Sie müssen zum Abschnitt Dateien gehen, um den richtigen fldigi, flrig etal Download für das jeweilige Betriebssystem zu finden. Verwenden Sie nicht die große grüne Download-Taste! Verwenden Sie den Menüpunkt „Dateien“ oder den Link „Alle Dateien durchsuchen“.

Logbook update
* Too many reports of lost logbooks due to operator error
– specifically selecting „New“ should create a new log
named „newlog.adi(f)“ in the default logbook folder.

N3FJP record rejections
* Insure that CALL and other fields are stripped of
leading and trailing whitespace before submitting
log record to N3FJP application
* Inhibit multiple dup checks on the same call sign
* Inhibit dup checks on calls with less than 3 alpha-numeric
characters
* Inhibit dup check on calls with 3 alph-numeric when last
char is numeric
* Inhibit N3FJP refresh of CALL after submitting a log entry
– fldigi was calling TABEVENT which in turn updated the
CALL entry in fldigi … a bit of round robin.
